4. Sandro Ramirez

Position: Striker

Current Club: Real Valladolid

A robust and pacy striker, Sandro Ramirez reminded some of a young Brazilian Ronaldo for Barcelona’s youth sides. His excellent eye for goal always made him a formidable threat and it was no surprise when Sandro made the step up to the first team from La Masia.

At just 19, Sandro made his debut for Barcelona’s first team at the start of the 2014/15 campaign against Villareal. He came on to replace the Pedro in the second half and it would prove to be a spectacular debut for Sandro. The Spanish forward netted a late winner to secure Barca victory and attain himself wonderkid status.

After his impressive debut goal Sandro continued to train with the first team but competition was fierce for places and Sandro was forced to play second fiddle behind Barcelona’s supreme striking talents.

Nonetheless, Sandro continued to make an impact coming off the bench and scored in the Champions League against Ajax.

Unfortunately however despite his goals, Sandro was deemed not good enough for Barcelona in the summer of 2016 and he left the club to join Malaga in search of more first team football.

Sandro had an excellent season with Malaga in which he netted 14 times in La Liga in 30 appearances. That goal record was enough for Everton to trigger and £5.2 million release clause.

His time in England has been horrid thus far and currently Sandro is at his third loan spell after failing to establish himself as a regular at Everton.

All together Sandro made 32 appearances for Barcelona’s first team and scored 7 goals as well as assisting 2.
