Position: Centre Forward

The prolific and pacy forward who has a very direct style of play and likes to play in between the defensive lines signed for the Catalan side this summer. Barry had a whole host of interests in his services including Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain, but it was Barcelona who the Englishman chose as his next destination.

More from FC Barcelona

Barry played for West Brom last season and caught the eye for the midlands side’s U18 team where he featured regularly despite only being 15 years of age. Barry managed to make 14 appearances in total for West Brom’s U18 side and scored 4 goals and made 3 assists in the process.

It wasn’t just at West Brom’s academy though where Barry impressed, he has been a constant feature for England youth sides and once scored 10 goals in 5 games for England U15s in a tournament. Barry has also scored 6 goals in 9 appearances for England’s U16 side including a brace against Brazil and at 16 he already has 2 goals in two games for England U17s.

Barry after some wait for his transfer to be approved by FIFA has now become a regular for Barcelona’s U19 side and has already found the back of the net for the Catalans against Zenit.
