Real Madrid are already looking at replacements…

It’s the start of November but that hasn’t stopped the footballing world getting excited for the next transfer window. Of course, January will soon creep upon us and if managers are not careful, they could go into the transfer window seriously unprepared.

One team that will wish to avoid that is Real Madrid. Los Blancos sit in second place of La Liga and their Champions League group. Therefore, they have multiple opportunities for success this season if they play their cards right.

Real Madrid had a strong summer transfer window, strengthening with the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic. They will be hoping for a less busy but more productive January window as they look to tighten any loose screws in their side.

More from Real Madrid

One conundrum they will be aiming to fix is that involving Gareth Bale. The Welsh winger has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu for some time now but nothing has come into fruition just yet. The general consensus in the Real Madrid camp is that Bale must leave before a toxic atmosphere is brewed.

According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid have found their replacement for Gareth Bale with months to spare. Rather than looking at new players, they have stuck to their guns and will reignite their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, according to the report.

Jadon Sancho is a lively young player that is tipped to be one of next best. He has spent a few seasons in Germany, impressing enough to be a regular starter for the England national team and Dortmund both in the Champions League and Bundesliga. The 19-year-old has scored four goals and provided five assists across all competitions this season.

Sancho is the perfect candidate for Real Madrid because he is in his development years. That said, Zinedine Zidane can mould the Englishman into any player he feels would suit him best. He has experience of playing through the centre, on the left and on the right so he really is versatile.

Do you think Real Madrid will sign Jadon Sancho this January?
