CM: Adrien Rabiot 6.5/10

For the first 70 minutes of this match, Adrien Rabiot continued to look uncomfortable with his new team. However, after Juve made their first couple of substitutions, we got a glimpse of what Rabiot is capable of. He made 2 really nice runs that allowed him to get off 2 of Juve’s more dangerous crosses of the match. The one nearly resulted in a goal, but the resulting shot was redirected out of play. His last 25 minutes in this match should give fans hope that once Juve begins to field an optimal lineup, we could actually see the Rabiot we were all hoping for when he came to Italy.

CM: Miralem Pjanic 6.5/10

This was the least impressive performance from Pjanic this season. He really just wasn’t able to get going at any point in the match and it showed as Lokomotiv was able to repeatedly take over stretches of the match. There just seemed to be an incisiveness missing to Pjanic’s passing through the day. It made it difficult for Juve to ever really create any danger in Lokomotiv’s half. This was most likely an anomaly and we’ll see the real Pjanic back on Sunday against Milan.

CM: Sami Khedira 6/10

For once, Sami Khedira actually did have a couple of positive moments for Juve. He played a really nice pass to Gonzalo Higuain that nearly got him a goal and he made a great tackle in the first half that shut down a Lokomotiv counter attack. The rest of the match, he was exactly what we expect him to be, uninvolved and ineffective. Even in the matches where he has bright spots, he is still holding Juve back and that will remain the case until Sarri finally benches him.
