Five reasons why Barcelona will regain their form against Celta Vigo

With the recent results that Barcelona have encountered, there is still hope that they can regain their form when they receive Real Celta Vigo on Saturday on La Liga Match.

With Barcelona coming from a goalless draw in the Champions League and a defeat in La Liga, Barcelona is looking to get back to the winning ways under Valverde who is more, and more in the hot seat.

Things need to get done quickly, but it can take time; time that Barcelona doesn’t have. Things need to make a quick turn for Barcelona to go back to their winning ways, the game against Celta Vigo can be the start of that.

Here are five reasons as to why and how Barcelona will go back to their winning ways:

Barcelona haven’t lost to Celta Vigo at home since 2014, which is a total of five years of Blaugrana dominance at home. In these past five years at home, Barcelona has managed to score a total of 20 goals in five games and only conceding four goals. This surely will be a win for Barcelona, but like Slavia Prague, nothing is set and done.

An inspired attacking frontline can do the job

With Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona will be relying a lot of them to provide either goals or assists against a strong Celta Vigo. With Ansu Fati coming in the second half it can also be a game-changer for them for the youngster to provide some speed and individual talent to the match.

Messi loves scoring against Celta, in 14 appearances that the Argentine has had against Celta he’s participated in 20 goals, with 10 goals and 10 assists. Messi has been on a good goal-scoring streak right after he picked up that injury at the beginning of the season. This game can be a perfect opportunity for the Argentine to continue his tally in La Liga.

The fans will also play a vital role when this game happens, supporting the players has to be a must for them to get that support to get in the result that they need to remain in the battle for first place. With more teams close to each other, Barcelona cannot permit another slip-up, especially against a team that’s in the relegation zone.

Strong Defensive Side

With 14 goals conceded in the tournament, things are looking kind of rocky in the backline, miscommunication and individual talent from opponents have been hard for the back four to control. A strong defensive side must come out with the clean sheet if they want to get better results, a clean sheet not only will help regain their trust in each other.

Barcelona must all come together and believe they can beat Celta Vigo and remain at the top of the League, but it all starts with beating Celta. Failing to do so, it could send the board of directors to look for possible changes for the upcoming Winter Transfer Market. Managerial changes could be done a lot quicker and players in the squad could go to places and seeing new faces can come in to get Barcelona back in their winning ways.
