Real Madrid will need to sacrifice one of their promising youngsters if they are to get their hands on Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe next year.
Real Madrid had a productive transfer window during the summer, but they will not lie down before signing Kylian Mbappe. Florentino Perez has revealed that it is his obsession to sign the France international and Zinedine Zidane has also remained publicly upbeat and positive about the signing of the Frenchman.
Los Merengues’ coach only recently spoke about it being Mbappe’s dream to play for the Whites. Prior to the Frenchman’s comments, even AS Monaco’s former vice-president had talked about Mbappe potentially playing for Real Madrid. All of that could turn out to fruition next summer as PSG have now demanded a Real Madrid player in exchange of their most prized asset, Fox Sports has reported.
Paris Saint-Germain have apparently set a price tag of 300 million euros on the France international and it looks like Real Madrid will be able to pay it as well, in addition to accommodating the forward’s salary demands. But the Ligue 1 giants will accept a bit less of cash should they be able to get Vinicius Junior into their squad out of the deal.

Since the start of the 2019/20 campaign, Rodrygo’s emergence has seen Vinicius’ chances being hampered and he has usually been a fringe player behind his compatriot. Since Mbappe may be set to arrive as well and Eden Hazard also slowly getting back into the groove, Vinicius could find himself at peace playing at the Parc des Princes where he may be a regular in the case of the Parisians not signing a replacement for the potentially Madrid-bound star.
The Whites would be perfectly fine with letting Vinicius Junior head to France if they will be able to get their hands on Mbappe. The Frenchman is head and shoulders above the Brazilian wonderkid in all aspects and in addition to the on-field characteristics, is also a very marketable figure- something that the Merengues have lacked since Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit.
If Madrid end up giving away Vinicius, then how much extra cash should they pay PSG?
