Sancho has made a name for himself with the German giants over the last two seasons, but his time could be up at Signal Iduna Park

19-year old English star Jadon Sancho is wanted by numerous European clubs and it looks like he could be available in next summer’s transfer window. According to Daily Mail UK, Sancho has been left unsettled after several clashes with Dortmund this season, leaving him wondering if a move away from the club could be best for his career.

Last month, he was fined 86,000 euros by Dortmund because he reported back late from international duty and was ultimately left out of the squad in an important league fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach. He was then forced to do an extra training session alone and then received criticism from sporting director Michael Zorc, who went public with the news after telling boss Lucien Favre he would keep it internal.

To make matters worse for Sancho, in the Der Klassiker on Saturday where Dortmund was thrashed by Bayern Munich 4-0, Favre subbed off the English starlet after just 36 minutes. He did limp off in Dortmund’s come-back victory over Inter the week before with an apparent hamstring injury, but Favre made it clear after the game that Sancho was not injured.

First off, that’s frankly not right. Rarely do you see a manager take off one of his best players in the first half of a huge clash like this, never mind put him down after the defeat. Sancho has proven time and time again to be a vital piece of Dortmund’s attack. He’s got a special talent to pick out teammates with a pass and his creativity in the final third is exhilarating to watch. The young Englishmen has scored three times and tallied five assists in nine appearances for Dortmund this term, which is still very respectable numbers. Every player is going to have spells of ups and downs, especially one that is just 19-years old like Sancho.

Some of the biggest clubs in the world have shown serious interest in the youngster, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain. Jurgen Klopp’s side is the latest team to be keen on the former Manchester City player, who left Pep Guardiola’s squad in 2017 for Germany in search of first-team football.

Sancho isn’t going to be cheap, but all of the clubs above can certainly afford the hefty price tag that comes along with the 19-year old. Manchester United have been heavily linked with him in past months, with Sancho voicing that he would be ecstatic for a move back to his home country.
