Paris Saint-Germain are going to have to sell one of their two golden boys. Barcelona fans, it’s time to get excited again…

The Neymar saga seems to have been going on for an aeon. Will he stay or will he go? In the summer, Barcelona attempted to push through a move for their former Brazilian star but they were reluctant to cough up the funds required by Paris Saint-Germain.

Now, it’s reported, Paris Saint-Germain could be put in a different position. This is according to Sport, who claims that despite the Parisians being desperate to keep both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, they may need to sell one of them in order to match financial fair play rules.

Given Neymar’s push for a move away in the summer transfer window and his continued desire to leave the club, it’s thought that Thomas Tuchel will look to sell Neymar in January. This could work in Barcelona’s favour since they will be able to get him at a price-cut deal.

More from FC Barcelona

Neymar was one of the best players in the world when he was situated at Camp Nou. While things have taken a slight turn for the worse, he still has the ability to make him a world-beater and all he needs to do is flick a switch to return to such talent.

He joined Paris Saint-Germain with the hopes of winning the Champions League. However, that dream has not worked out for him. Should he return to Barcelona then he has a much better chance of winning the illustrious trophy again.

There have been many changes at Barcelona since the Brazilian was sold. He would need to find a way to gel with new signing Antoine Griezmann. However, he would have no trouble with rekindling his partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
