Arsenal seem to have found the ideal candidate to replace their infamous former captain following his widely criticised scandal.
Granit Xhaka has disgraced himself with the Arsenal faithful during the last couple of months after his inability to inspire a change of form in the Gunners and then storming off at the Emirates after being substituted against Crystal Palace.
Xhaka was consequently stripped off the Arsenal captaincy and is yet to play in a competitive game for the Gunners since then. It seems quite likely that Xhaka will be on his way out of the club imminently with perhaps a January move on the cards for the Swiss international.
Arsenal and Unai Emery therefore must think quick in order to bring in an adequate replacement for the former Arsenal captain and bolster the Gunner’s options in midfield.
According to the Daily Mail via Football Insider Emery has already identified the perfect addition in the figure of teenage sensation Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian has been dubbed as one of the hottest prospects in world football right now and is a pivotal member of Red Bull Salzburg’s impressive young team which has played some great football in the Champions League thus far this season.
Szoboszlai himself has already found the net in the prestigious tournament and has been making great strides in his development during the start of this season. The Hungarian has recently scored his first international goal and already has four goals in 17 appearances for his Austrian club side.
The Hungarian is renowned for his incredible ability to strike the dead-ball already having a catalogue of a plethora of outstanding free-kick and long-range goals on the internet.
Szoboszlai also has a great eye for a pass and the ability to pick out his team-mates from the other end of the pitch. He’s got pace, dynamism and excellent dribbling ability which enables him to glide past opponents on the pitch with ease.
At six-foot-one inches he also has the stature which suggests he would have no problems fitting into the Premier League’s combative style of play.
The Hungarian is certainly the ideal Arsenal player and he could establish himself at the Gunners as one of the best midfielders playing in Europe right now. With all the traits to become a superstar Szoboszlai could catapult the London club to the next level.
What do you think could Szoboszlai be a good signing for Arsenal?
