4. Samir Nasri

Samir Nasri’s name is considered blasphemy in the red part of London and rightly so. He has never even come close to being forgiven by the Emirates Stadium faithful following his move to Manchester City in 2011. He left London in order to win trophies and, with the due respect, he completed that quest.

He won the Premier League on two occasions with Manchester City while also getting his hands on a League Cup. He recently returned to London in 2019, joining West Ham. However, luckily for the Gunners, he only made five league appearances and he wasn’t considered a pivotal part of the Hammers side. Who knows, maybe Jack Wilshere gave him a stern talking to on behalf of the Arsenal fans.

Nasri was one of my favourite players for Arsenal. He would always be found causing trouble in the final third. He had good footwork and had the ability to play incisive passes, while also cutting inside wherever necessary to take on the shot himself. It’s a shame his progress had to be abrupted so soon.

Nasri left a sour taste in the mouths of Arsenal fans and he will never, ever be forgiven. Nobody holds a grudge like a football fan does.
