With December already upon us, the end of the year is near, and Barcelona knows they need to finish strong to start on the right foot ahead of 2020.

With a total of five games left in the year, Barcelona cannot permit any slip-ups for the final stretch of the year, with four La Liga matches and the last fixture in the Champions League, they sure have a busy schedule ahead of them.

The following teams are who Barcelona will face in December: Mallorca, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid, and Alaves. Their last Champions League match will come against Inter Milan. These teams surely can and will become a challenge for them as they go on to finish the calendar year.

After securing a vital victory in their visit at the Wanda Metropolitano and a stunning goal from Lionel Messi, Barcelona is still alive in the title race against Real Madrid, who have also been playing well these past few matches. Lionel Messi on Monday morning went on to win his record sixth FIFA Ballon D’Or just ahead of Virgil van Dijk, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Facing these teams will come as a challenge to Valverde’s men as they want to finish the year on a positive note and bring joy to the fans and themselves.
