Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is still pursuing a move for Paul Pogba and may offer two of his first-team players in exchange of the midfielder.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane signed as many as five players in the summer but was unable to get rid of those he did not want, particularly James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale. The duo ended up staying at the Santiago Bernabeu and has featured often as well, but there still does not seem to be any future in Spain for the two.

Zinedine Zidane is obsessed with the signing of Paul Pogba from Manchester United. The France international has not featured for the Red Devils since September due to an ankle injury, but rumours have suggested that the player is faking his fitness in order to force a move to the Spanish capital in the winter’s transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has remained coy on the midfielder’s future, but El Desmarque claims that Zinedine Zidane has asked Florentino Perez to pursue a move for his compatriot during January. The Red Devils value Pogba at 150 million euros, but the Merengues will offer two players in a swap deal in an attempt to reduce the price tag.

James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale are the players who the Whites are willing to sacrifice. The Colombia international is seen as a welcome international at the Old Trafford given his attacking contributions, something that United lack from their engine room. On the other hand, Bale was on their radar during Mourinho’s time but what Ole thinks is not yet known.

Florentino Perez and Real Madrid’s senior players are thought to be against the transfer of Paul Pogba for his off-field conducts and rightly so. The former Juventus midfielder does not have a great reputation behind-the-scenes, and with Federico Valverde having emerged as a regular, it would be absolutely foolish of Zidane to sign Pogba.
