2. Erling Haaland

Before the start of this season not many would have heard of the Norwegian forward. Erling Haaland is the son of former Leeds United player Alf-Inge Haaland and he has had a remarkable breakthrough season.

Haaland begun the summer by scoring an incredible nine goals in one match during the U20 World Cup and has not looked back since finding the back of the net with such ease he makes it seem effortless. Haaland is starting to establish himself as an absolute goal machine. Wherever the Norwegian forward goes, goals follow in abundance and with great precision. He is an all round terrific forward. Haaland has great strength, he is quick, and he is excellent on the ball with his close control and agility. Haaland has the innate knack for putting himself in the right positions and finding the back of the net too.

So far this season, the Norwegian has 27 goals in just 20 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg in all competitions. He is already far too good for the Austrian league and he will be on the move to a bigger club soon.

Haaland has also been in great form in the Champions League and has currently hit 8 goals in the group stages after just 5 games.

Still just 19 years of age, Haaland is showing signs of greatness, and he could be the perfect replacement for Luis Suarez. With his strength, pace and ability to hold the ball up he resembles similar traits to that of Suarez and at such a young age Haaland could be the Barcelona number nine for the next decade if Valverde and the Catalans decide to make a move for him.
