5. Timo Werner

Last but not least is the German striker on Barcelona’s list according to Mundo Deportivo. Timo Werner is probably the most established name of the bunch yet he is still only 23 years of age with plenty of time still to play at the highest level.

It is no surprise Barcelona are keeping an eye on the German forward, Werner has built up a reputation as one of the deadliest forwards in Europe with his frightening ability and consistency to score on one on one situations and to run behind defences to get through in on goal.

Werner already has 13 goals in 13 games in the Bundesliga this season showcasing that deadly precision which he has been known for. He is without a shadow of a doubt the best German player in the national team at the moment and his great form could certainly be put to good use at Barcelona too.

Werner’s pace could be ideal when linking up with Messi and Griezmann on the wing, the two current Barca players are known for their creativity and under their exquisite vision Werner could thrive with the Catalans.

He may not be similar to Luis Suarez in his style of play but that doesn’t matter, Werner has the potential to become a world class superstar and Barcelona could be the club where he establishes himself.

The Catalans may have to fork out a fortune though in order to get him as RB Leipzig are set to demand a high fee for their best player.
