Juventus interested in swap deal with PSG
By John Vaccaro
The Juventus midfield has been struck with injury after injury recently, but they may have found a solution to some of their issues.
According to a report from TuttoJuve, Juventus is considering offering to make a swap with Paris Saint-Germain for Leandro Paredes. In return, they could offer up Mattia De Sciglio or Emre Can, two players who have both reportedly been targets for PSG over the last few months.
They could have some competition for Paredes, as Manchester United is reportedly also lining up an offer. However, the ability to offer PSG a player they’ve been pursuing could be enough for them to win a bidding war.

anybody else to back Alex Sandro up at left back and he is also able to play right back, a position where Juventus has some issues.
On the other hand, sending Can to PSG in this deal could actually work out very well for Juve. It has been abundantly clear this season that he isn’t part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans for this squad and that has led to him being left out of the Champions League squad for the group stage while only playing 274 minutes in Serie A. He has also made it seem like he is more than willing to move on to another club in recent interviews. Swapping him for Paredes would also likely bring them in some extra cash in exchange for a player that they never had to pay a transfer fee for in the first place.
Paredes would fill a role similar to what is usually expected of Can if he were to join Juve and like Can, has struggled to get regular playing time this season. He already has experience in Italy after playing for Empoli and Roma earlier in his career, so the transition would likely be easier for him than the other players Juve is interested in.
Swapping Can for Paredes won’t solve all of Juve’s problems in their midfield, but it at least could be a step toward improving and would help them overcome their slew of recent injuries.
