Liverpool could be busy next month with Klopp himself refusing to rule out doing business. Here are five deals the Reds could make.

With Jurgen Klopp not ruling out Liverpool being active in the transfer window last week it seems January might be a busy month for the Reds and could see both departures and arrivals at Anfield.

Liverpool are of course set for a busy schedule from now till the end of the season as they will look to fight on all fronts and help the Reds secure a first Premier League title as well as going as far as they can in the cup competitions in which they are involved in.

That will require a strong squad and it is why Klopp could be making moves during the winter period.

With one player in Takumi Minamino already seemingly on his way to the Reds, here are five potentially exciting deals Liverpool could make in terms of both departures and arrivals at the club.

1. Sander Berge – Arrival from Genk

The towering giant Norwegian midfielder could be one of the likeliest arrivals at the club. Recently it has been revealed that Jurgen Klopp himself is a huge admirer of Sander Berge and the Norwegian impressed in the two games Genk played against Liverpool in the Champions League group stages.

He is both quick, excellent on the ball and great going forward but he is tough in the tackle and stupendous positionally which enables him to break down opposition attacks with ease. Sander Berge tested Liverpool’s midfield with great success and he is set to be on the most exciting young midfielders breaking through the ranks in European football.

At just 21 years of age Sander Berge has an abundance of potential and he could provide a great option for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

With Fabinho suffering a very unfortunate injury recently, if the Brazilian’s recovery takes longer than expected Berge could be the perfect back-up in the Brazilian holding midfielder’s place. The Norwegian is more than suited to the role and he himself surely couldn’t turn down a move to Anfield with the impressive form Liverpool are in.
