Chelsea are set to beat a string of Europe’s most successful clubs in order to land arguably the most wanted player from the continent.

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is inarguably the most wanted property amongst Europe’s elite clubs ahead of the New Year. The Englishman is an absolutely lethal forward and is on the radars of Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid, who are all keen on adding him to their respective rosters.

Last season, Jadon Sancho was the only player alongside Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard to have registered double-digit numbers in the goals as well as assists count in the top five European leagues, and was the first one to get to that mark in all competitions this season. Sancho’s credentials are proven and he will be successful wherever he goes.

English news daily The Sun has claimed that Chelsea will beat all other contenders in signing Jadon Sancho and a move for the Bundesliga superstar will be completed in January, providing Frank Lampard’s men with a significant boost heading into the double legged Champions League outing versus German champions Bayern Munich.

More from Chelsea FC

Jadon Sancho will cost the Blues 120 million pounds, a world record fee for an England international and almost 40 million pounds more than the second player in the list- Manchester United’s Harry Maguire. Chelsea do have a hefty monetary chest after their earning’s on Eden Hazard’s signing and lack of spending in the summer.

Chelsea will benefit massively from Jadon Sancho’s signing given that all other wingers of theirs are not very potent providers of goals. Willian and Pedro have done the job but are nearing the end of their respective careers, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic add a lot to the game- but not many goals and assists.

Frank Lampard did highlight the need for his side to bring in a replacement for Eden Hazard and if there was actually anybody worthy enough to fill-in for the Real Madrid forward, it is Jadon Sancho. The youngster is only 19 but boasts some incredible numbers while his attributes are simply stunning as well, making him an ideal player for the west Londoners.

Do you think Jadon Sancho can replicate his numbers from the Bundesliga in the Premier League?
