Manchester United have apparently decided to sell off Paul Pogba and will look to take complete advantage of Real Madrid’s interest in him.

Manchester United are displaying their inconsistencies once again and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future is certainly going to come under the scanner after some poor results. One of the main reasons for the Red Devils’ debacles may be the absence of an experienced midfielder such as Paul Pogba who has not played since a few months.

Paul Pogba was reportedly injured and then picked up a sickness before being injured again as per the Premier League giants’ boss, but all signs point towards him faking a condition in order to force a move to Real Madrid. Los Blancos have been credited with interest in the France international and Zidane does want him, but Perez is not a big fan of Pogba.

Real Madrid’s senior players have asked the club and coach to not sign Paul Pogba due to his slack attitude off the field and an undisciplined lifestyle. However, Zinedine Zidane is insistent on signing his compatriot and Fox Sports has reported that Manchester United have finally decided to sell him off but would want Toni Kroos in exchange.

Toni Kroos has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2023 and has been valued at 80 million pounds, meaning that a potential move for Pogba would see the Whites having to pay 100 million pounds. Kroos was wanted by Manchester United when he was at Bayern Munich, but David Moyes pulled the plug on his move and the German landed in Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane has remained silent over any questions regarding Paul Pogba of late, so that may be a major indication from the Frenchman that he is no more interested in the former Juventus superstar and especially since Federico Valverde has turned up big time over the last few months. Plus, Zidane would not want to sacrifice Kroos for sure.

Florentino Perez will almost surely reject any bids as well for Kroos and may not sign Pogba, instead making a move for Kylian Mbappe in the summer. Luka Modric’s contract at the Bernabeu expires in the summer so if there is a midfielder brought to replace him, it may be Christian Eriksen for free or Donny van de Beek for roughly 60 million euros.
