Leicester City end Southampton’s hot streak

Most teams would struggle without their primary striker, but Leicester City have kept the ball rolling with back-to-back wins away from home against West Ham and Newcastle United. It is clear that the Foxes have found their stride again after suffering heavy defeats to Manchester City and Liverpool.

Speaking of heavy defeats, Southampton were humiliated 9-0 by Leicester City the last time these teams met, however, much has changed since then. Thanks to the stellar form of Danny Ings, who is now the second-highest scorer in the top flight with 13 goals, Southampton have won three of their last four games, which includes victories over Chelsea and Tottenham.

The Saints are expected to be more competitive in this clash, but Leicester City have too many dynamic players in attack. Southampton’s best chances will come from counter-attacks, but Leicester City’s ability to hold on to the ball will limit the Saints’ chances.

Predictions: Leicester City 3-0 Southampton

Sheffield United claim the double over West Ham

Sheffield United suffered a rare defeat when they lost to Liverpool at Anfield, but despite losing the Blades did give Jurgen Klopp’s side a few scares. Sheffield United are still in the top ten after 21 weeks of action and they can thank their compact defending for that.

West Ham have hit the reset button with the arrival of David Moyes, who won his first game in charge of the club in impressive fashion against Bournemouth. The Hammers have struggled with consistency this season and it will be difficult for them to maintain the same rhythm as last week when they travel to Bramall Lane. West Ham will test Dean Henderson every now and then, but they will struggle on the road against a team that has only conceded 21 goals this season.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-0 West Ham
