Juventus has already been busy during the transfer window, but they might not be done yet.

After selling Mario Mandzukic, loaning Mattia Perin, and signing Dejan Kulusevski (with him staying on loan at Parma), here is how Juventus should handle the rest of their squad.

Goalkeepers:

Wojciech Szczesny

W’ll start with a pretty easy decision. Wojciech Szczesny has been one of the best keepers in Serie A since taking over for Gianluigi Buffon at the start of last season. He is playing at an extremely high level and has been one of Juve’s most important players this year. He isn’t going anywhere.

Keep

Gianluigi Buffon

This is another easy decision to make. Gianluigi Buffon is a Juve legend who is still playing at a high level late in his career. Having him as the backup is a nice luxury for Juve and it isn’t one they’ll be giving up, especially since he hasn’t passed Paolo Maldini yet for the Serie A appearance record. this could be Buffon’s last season before he retires, but even if it isn’t, he’ll be retiring with Juventus.

Keep

Carlo Pinsoglio

This is another easy decision for Juve, but for different reasons than the other two keepers. He is both a homegrown player and being Italian, which helps the club meet the requirements for their squad without having to fit players in across other positions. I don’t see any reason why Juve would be looking to get rid of their 3rd string keeper, so he’ll also be sticking around.
