Zinedine Zidane won’t wait any longer to kick off Real Madrid’s transfer window…

With the new decade in full swing, Real Madrid will have their goals for the end of the year in sight. Preferably they would like to finish this season with silverware, more than can be said for last time out. Zidane will have his eyes on the ultimate prize, the Champions League, but he is also standing on good feet in La Liga too.

Real Madrid sit in second of the Spanish top flight, level on points with Barcelona just behind on goal difference. However, they know that given their current squad, they have what it takes to push past their Catalan rivals. Zidane may just need a little push from the transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a trusted journalist, Real Madrid are showing keen interest in Reinier of Flamengo. Moreover, the account claims that the deal is ‘done’ and the Brazilian star will sign a contract for five years.

Reinier is just what Real Madrid need in the final third. He is physically demanding, creative and has plenty of skills up his sleeve. One can often see the youngster winning back possession in the final third, playing sublime through balls to his teammates and dumbfounding his opponents with his trickery. In many ways, he is a more physical Isco.

Obviously, Reinier isn’t going to have an easy time walking into the Los Blancos XI. However, if he has the right attitude and is willing to learn and prosper under Zidane, then he will have an easy time getting on with his teammates. After all, he probably has a thing or two to teach them in return.

Reinier could turn out to be a worthy signing for Real Madrid throughout the course of this decade since he ages at only 17 years old. Only time will tell whether he can live up to his immense potential.

Do you think Reinier would be a good signing for Real Madrid or do they need to aim higher?
