CAM: Aaron Ramsey 6/10

Early on in this match, we saw the difference that Aaron Ramsey can make for the Juve attack. He was occasionally troublesome for the Roma defense. Unfortunately, his impact stopped along with Juve’s attack. He looks like he still needs some time to get himself back to his best after a spending a lot of time injured or playing as a sub. Hopefully we see him start to get into form over the next few weeks.

ST: Cristiano Ronaldo 8/10

Cristiano Ronaldo has gotten out to a great start in the year 2020. He scored his 4th goal of the year against Roma on Sunday, extending his current streak to 6 consecutive Serie A matches with a goal. He also created another nice chance that was saved and should have had an assist, but Juan Cuadrado took too long to pass the ball on a  counterattack, which ended up causing Gonzalo Higuain to be offside by the time he got the ball. Ronaldo’s grade does take a hit because of the header that he missed. Overall, it was another good day for Ronaldo that saw him move into a tie for 2nd place in the Capocannoniere race.

ST: Paulo Dybala 8.5/10

Paulo Dybala’s name won’t show up on the score sheet for this match, but he is the player most responsible for the win. It was his free kick delivery that snuck through the Roma defense to set up Demiral’s goal. Then he made the tackle in Roma’s end and drew the penalty to give Ronaldo his chance to score the match’s second goal. He surprisingly didn’t attempt a shot in this match, but he didn’t need to shoot the ball to take over this match.
