Juan Cuadrado 5.5/10

Juan Cuadrado actually got the opportunity to sub into this match as an attacking player, something he doesn’t get many chances to do anymore. However, he wasn’t really needed by the time he subbed in because Juve was already up 4 goals.  It showed as he didn’t really influence this match at all.

Aaron Ramsey 5.5/10

I’m not really sure why Juve bothered to bring Aaron Ramsey into this match. Like Cuadrado, his

presence wasn’t really needed while Juve was so far ahead. This left him without much to do upon his entry into the match. He’s likely starting the next match, so I’m sure we’ll see more out of him in a few days.

Marko Pjaca 5.5/10

This was certainly a surprise. Marko Pjaca hasn’t appeared in a Juve jersey since 2017 or at all in nearly a year. He was fine in this appearance, but, like the other two, was an attacking player brought into a match where his club didn’t need to attack. I’m curious to see if he becomes a part of Juve’s plans again this season.

Manager: Maurizio Sarri 9/10

Juventus was expected to roll past Udinese in this match, but the way that Maurizio Sarri led this team to a 4-0 win was impressive. First, I really liked his use of Bernardeschi as a mezzala after he had struggled elsewhere. It could give him another option to play with as he continues to advance this squad. I also like that he gave Bentancur a chance to replace Pjanic in a match where he actually surrounded by a talented group of attacking players. I’ve also been calling for Douglas Costa to get a crack at the trequartista spot, so I was glad to see him finally get that shot. Juve actually looked great in this match, which has been somewhat rare this season, so this was a very good dat for Sarri. Let’s hope it’s an indication of what’s to come the rest of the season.
