RWB: Antonio Candreva

The clock continues to wind down on Antonio Candreva’s time as a starter for Inter Milan. He’s had a few great matches for Inter, but most of his performances have been entirely forgettable. He could have a chance to put in another impressive performance on Sunday, but it won’t be enough to keep in the lineup once Danilo D’Ambrosio is healthy again. Right wing back has certainly been one of Inter’s weakest positions whenever Candreva has had to take over this spot, but his presence shouldn’t hurt against Lecce.

LWB: Cristiano Biraghi

Cristiano Biraghi’s replacement may have just joined Inter’s ranks, but he’ll likely still be getting the start against Lecce. Inter brought in Ashley Young this week because they don’t trust their left wing back options (or their right wing back options when D’Ambrosio is injured), but I don’t expect him to be thrust into the starting lineup just yet. Italian managers tend to take things slow with new signings, so Biraghi should get a few more chances to keep himself in Inter’s rotation. I’m not sure that he’ll be able to de enough to convince Conte he still belongs in the starting lineup, though. He hasn’t been overly impressive throughout the season and really only won this spot in the first place because Kwadwo Asamoah has injury issues. However, Sunday’s match is a chance for him to look good against a lesser opponent.
