6 moves Inter Milan must make before the transfer window closes

Pay for Christian Eriksen
Inter Milan trying to low ball Tottenham on Christian Eriksen’s price is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard in a transfer negotiation. I understand that Inter could get him for free if they’re wiling to wait until the summer to add Eriksen, but Inter has made it clear that they’re trying to do everything they can to win the Scudetto this season. If that doesn’t happen because Inter was only willing to pay 10 million euros for Christian Eriksen instead of the 20 million Tottenham wanted, it’s going to look really bad for Inter’s management.

Adding a world-class player like Eriksen would put a lot of pressure on Juventus. As we’ve seen throughout this season, Inter and Juve are two very evenly matched teams. Making such a huge move would certainly give Inter an advantage in the midfield and should make them the overall stronger team.
There is also the uncertainty that comes along with not locking down a player like this as soon as you can. If Inter doesn’t end up paying to bring Eriksen in during the winter and don’t get his Bosman transfer signed before the end of the month then there is a very real chance that Juventus could hijack this move. The lack of attacking talent in Juve’s midfield is one of the club’s biggest problems, so bringing in Eriksen for free would be a very appealing move for Juve. Inter Milan has the opportunity to block that right now and strengthen their squad while also preventing Juventus from strengthening theirs.
This should be an easy choice for Inter to make. I don’t understand why this move hasn’t happened already.
