LB: Alex Sandro: Inc.

Alex Sandro’s night was cut short before the match really got going because of a hamstring injury. Hopefully this injury won’t cost him too much time because Juve doesn’t actually have anybody available to step in for him right now.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 7/10

Leonardo Bonucci wasn’t as impactful as usual on the defensive end, but he did manage to at least  help advance the Juve attack. The fact that Parma didn’t muster much of an attack in this match allowed Bonucci to roam free in the attacking end and help Juve try to find a breakthrough. This certainly wasn’t Bonucci’s most important performance, but I’m sure he’ll have more to do on Wednesday and he’ll be up to the challenge.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt 7.5/10

This was another great performance for Matthijs de Ligt. His dominance on the defensive end allowed Bonucci freedom to join the attack and de Ligt didn’t make any mistakes in this match. He made a key block in the second half that may have been the difference in Juve getting all 3 points in this match. He said in a recent interview that he has continued to improve this season and it showed again on Sunday.

RB: Juan Cuadrado 6.5/10

I was really surprised to see Juan Cuadrado get the start in this match. I thought for sure that Sarri would be turning to Danilo after he had to sub him in to cover for Cuadrado against Roma. Cuadrado didn’t do much to lock this spot down in this match. He wasn’t particularly influential on the attacking end, which is kind of his only edge as a right back. He was alright on the defensive end, but Juve’s defense was rarely tested for most of this match. He’ll need to start making more of an impact if he wants to keep Danilo from taking this job.
