4. Kalidou Koulibaly

Koulibaly has reportedly been working to angle his way out of Napoli, after being unhappy when the club fired manager Carlo Ancelotti, and Manchester United is one of the two front runners for what some call the best defender in the world. According to The Sun, Napoli value Koulibaly at 100 million euros and United will have to outbid PSG for the defenders services.

Koulibaly has not had a great season in Serie A, with an average match rating of 6.80, but the defender has performed well in the Champions League with a 7.43 rating in the six group stage games. The Senegalese international ranks ninth in Serie A in tackles per game and also ranks in the top 20 with 0.9 blocks per game.

A back-line of Harry Maguire, Koulibaly and Aaron Wan-Bissaka would be a great foundation to build on for Manchester United and would have a big impact this season for the Red Devils.

5. Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani appears to be on his way out of PSG and there are big clubs all over Europe who will be fighting for the star Uruguayan striker in January. It appears United, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Tottenham are all in on Cavani and I believe he would best fit in Manchester.

The Uruguayan has not had a great year with PSG as he has been dealing with injuries and a log jam up front all season. Cavani has just 10 goals in 23 appearances for club and country and just two goals in four appearances in Ligue 1. The 32-year-old showed he still has what it takes to get the ball in the back of the net after netting two goals in four games for Uruguay in last summers Copa America and will prove to be a great signing for whichever club wins his services.

Cavani could land in a Zlatan Ibrahimovic role with the club and could mentor all of the young players on how to become a superstar in Europe.
