Real Madrid want to sign Cristiano Ronaldo’s ace teammate and former Barcelona target
Real Madrid are looking to do some business with Juventus in the upcoming months having shortlisted one of their main players.
Gareth Bale still faces a dicey future at Real Madrid, but there are more odds favouring his departure from the Santiago Bernabeu than those tipping him to stay. The Wales international has annoyed the club’s fanbase since the last few months with his injury issues and infamous antiques while on international duty.
There are still not many known destinations or any teams that have shown interest in signing the former Tottenham Hotspur superstar, but Los Merengues have already decided to look at potential options for a right winger’s signing in the summer. Mohamed Salah, Raheem Sterling and Sadio Mane have all been looked at by the club.
Diario GOL has reported that Zinedine Zidane’s side has now vested interest in Juventus winger Paulo Dybala, who they see as a reasonable priced and well experienced option keeping in mind the kind of money they may spend if Kylian Mbappe is signed. Dybala has apparently decided to leave Juventus during the summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival has heavily impeded the Argentinian forward’s growth at the Allianz Stadium and he is no more the point of focus. Moreover, Maurizio Sarri has a soft spot for Gonzalo Higuain, who he worked with even while at Napoli and has thus been using him with Ronaldo up-front, with Dybala in a slightly hindered role of an attacking midfielder.
Paulo Dybala has appeared in most of the Turin based club’s matches, but scored just 11 times. For a player who was tipped to become one of the world’s best player not very long ago, those are not great numbers and he will certainly do better should he become a focal point of the attack at the Santiago Bernabeu.
While there is no disclosure of the price tag that Paulo Dybala carries whilst with the Old Lady of Turin, it can be deemed that the winger’s potential signing for Real Madrid would not cost more than 80 million euros. But the bigger and broader question remains on whether the Whites are actually in need of landing him despite Bale’s likely exit.
Do you think Paulo Dybala would move to the home of the 13-time European champions?
