Willian (5/10)

Willian had some good moments but wasn’t able to impact the game as much as he would have liked. Up against Hector Bellerin, the Brazilian winger got into some good positions, but the final product was lacking more often than not.

Tammy Abraham (6/10)

Abraham had a glorious chance to give Chelsea the lead in the 15th minute, but ended up heading his shot straight at Leno. He played a big role in Chelsea’s opener by showing great awareness to pounce on Mustafi’s mistake before rounding the keeper brilliantly. He was then fouled by David Luiz, who was sent off, with Chelsea getting a penalty.

He showed some good hold-up play in the second half, and put in a real shift despite not being able to get on the scoresheet.

Callum Hudson Odoi (7/10)

Hudson Odoi has struggled a bit in recent weeks, but he was one of Chelsea’s best players tonight, especially in the first half. He hit the top of the crossbar with a curling cross/shot, and also forced Leno into a good save. He wasn’t able to replicate his first half performance after the break, but it was an encourage display nonetheless.

He also got the assist for Azpilicueta’s goal with a fine low cross.

Substitutes

Ross Barkley (5/10)

Was brought on to add more creativity to Chelsea’s midfield, and had his team’s best chance of the second half, but was denied by a fantastic save by Leno. Other than that, he was kept quiet by Arsenal.

Mason Mount (5/10)

Like Barkley, Mount failed to have any impact on the game.

Michy Batshuayi (N/R)

Had a good chance before the late goals, but Xhaka’s touch prevented him from making better contact on the ball.
