LB: Alex Sandro

I don’t know if Alex Sandro has fully recovered from his rib injury yet, but he is one Juve’s only two full backs who is healthy enough to play right now. That could change if the rumors of a move for Layvin Kurzawa are true, but for now Alex Sandro is guaranteed to get this spot in every match. I continue to wait for him to consistently be an attacking presence for Juve. Maybe a match against a struggling Napoli squad is what he needs to bring that out of him.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci

It seems like Leonardo Bonucci is sick of just playing defense these days. Against Parma, he frequently joined the attack to try to spark them while they were struggling to score. Then in the match against Roma, he scored off of a Douglas Costa cross. His play this season has been huge for Juve and he’ll get the captain’s armband again on Sunday.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt

Daniele Rugani’s start on Wednesday gave Juve a chance to rest Matthijs de Ligt, but we won’t be seeing anybody other than de Ligt start alongside Bonucci in Serie A until Giorgio Chiellini is healthy. De Ligt had a brutal first match against Napoli, but this is a completely new version of him that we’ve seen recently. I expect to see him make life miserable for Napoli’s attack and continue to improve throughout the rest of this season.

RB: Juan Cuadrado

With Danilo expected to miss the next two matches because of a muscular injury, it is guaranteed that Juan Cuadrado will be Juve’s starting right back against Napoli. Cuadrado has held this position for most of the season as Danilo has struggled to stay healthy and now he has a chance to once again take over the position with a couple of good performances. A clean sheet against Napoli would be a nice start.
