LB: Alex Sandro 4.5/10

This was a bad match for Alex Sandro. He gave Jose Callejon way too much space on multiple occasions, including when he sent in the cross that led to Napoli’s second goal. He also wasn’t able to produce much on the attacking end to bolster a floundering attack. Sandro needs to be better if Juve is going to reach the lofty goals they’ve set for themselves this season.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 5.5/10

There wasn’t really much to Leonardo Bonucci’s performance in this match. Most of the important moments in Juve’s half came on the wings and there wasn’t really anything Bonucci could have done to prevent either of the goals. He also wasn’t able to go forward as much in this match as he had in the previous two. This was a pretty bland match for Bonucci and I expect we’ll see more out of him against Fiorentina next weekend.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt 5.5/10

The story of Matthijs de Ligt’s match is pretty much the same as Leonardo Bonucci’s. He also didn’t really have a chance to prevent either goal and wasn’t called into action too often. This wasn’t the best day for de Ligt, but it was at least an improvement over the last time he played against Napoli.

RB: Juan Cuadrado 3/10

Juan Cuadrado was alright on the attacking end of the field in this match, but his defense was awful on both Napoli goals. First, he jogged toward the ball as Piotr Zielinski got past him and easily scored the match’s opening goal. Then, he failed to close down on Lorenzo Insigne, giving him plenty of space to get a shot off for Napoli’s second goal. If there was ever a match that proved the right-back position would hold Juventus back this season in big matches, this was the match. I really miss Joao Cancelo.
