Three defeats in a row for Manchester United…

Pundits and fans were fuming over Marcus Rashford‘s lack of production on the front-line for Manchester United over the last few seasons. This season Manchester United look like a relegation-threatened team when he is out of the lineup, and he will be out for two months. Having lost their last two games to Liverpool and Burnley, which was a shocker, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a difficult task of reviving his players’ confidence.

Wolverhampton are also in a bit of a funk at the moment. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have only claimed one victory in their last four games, but they tend to wake up against elite teams. A win would enable Wolverhampton to trade places with Manchester United and I think Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore will lead the way for Wolves.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-3 Wolverhampton

Sheffield United frustrate Crystal Palace in London

Sheffield United still find themselves in the top ten despite four of their last five games being against Manchester City (twice), Liverpool and Arsenal. The Blades‘ solid defending has kept them competitive in games this season and it will be difficult for Crystal Palace to break them down.

Crystal Palace have been bouncing in and out of the top this season, which is surprising because they are the second-lowest scoring team in the Premier League with 22 goals in 24 games. Sheffield United boast one of the best defensive records in the top flights having only conceded 23 goals this season. This game could very well be a 0-0 snooze fest, but the Blades’ tight defending and impressive counter-attacking tactics should carry them in this game.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 Sheffield United
