The clash between top-four sides always has important implications. What are some key points to watch as Chelsea looks to close the gap between them and Leicester City?

Chelsea is flying … high? Despite incredibly low expectations, the Blues have defied all expectations and now positioned themselves firmly in the top-four position. Incredibly, it still feels like they are underachieving in some way, with many glaring weaknesses noticeable in their game. The young ones are tasked with perhaps too many loads early and could be running out of gas.

Speaking of defying expectations, Leicester City is enjoying its best campaign since their infamous title-winning season. The Foxes are comfortably in third – for now – led by contributions from some familiar faces and surprising stars.

So these two surprises are now squaring off, with both clashing in less than ideal forms. Can Chelsea distance themselves from the fifth-place battle and cut into the Leicester’s lead or will the Foxes continue to solidify themselves for the Champions League spot?
