7. Kovacic gave the tired midfield a breath of fresh air with energy in both going forward and winning the ball back. Croatian has been on a great form recently and hopefully, we will see him in more starting lineups.. CM. Chelsea. MATEO KOVACIC

7. Willian was thrusted into a false nine role unexpectedly but did admirably, looking to create in the short time he was on the pitch. It is beyond me as to why he wasn’t on the pitch to start the game.. Sub. Chelsea. WILLIAN

3. In what was essentially a defiance sub by Frank Lampard as a message to the board, Barkley was set up to fail. Regardless, he was a blackhole with the ball, infuriatingly frustrating with his ability to do nothing with it and give it away every time.. Sub. Chelsea. ROSS BARKLEY

Next. 4 goalkeepers that could replace Kepa at Chelsea. dark
