CM: Adrien Rabiot

Maurizio Sarri made the mistake of starting Blaise Matuidi against Napoli, but he can’t afford to repeat it against Fiorentina. He holds back the attack every time he plays and doesn’t fit into he squad at all. Instead, Juve needs to start Adrien Rabiot against Fiorentina to avoid a repeat of the result from the first match against Fiorentina. Rabiot hasn’t been perfect so far with Juve, but he is certainly an upgrade over Matuidi. We could see it in his last two starts as they were arguably two of the best performances Juve has put in this season. I hope Sarri finally sees that he needs to make this move and finally gives Miralem Pjanic the help around him that he’s needed all season.

CM: Miralem Pjanic

Miralem Pjanic had to leave last weekend’s match against Napoli early because of an ankle injury, but it’s looking like he’ll be healthy enough to start for Juve against Fiorentina. This is huge news for Juve as it gives them a chance to get their best midfield out on the field together for an important match. Pjanic looked great the last time Juve allowed him to start without Matuidi alongside him and I expect we’ll see the same thing on Sunday. Hopefully the ankle injury doesn’t flare up because Juve just thinned out their midfield even more.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur

I believe Rodrigo Bentancur is quickly becoming the best midfielder at Juventus. He has played well recently both alongside Miralem Pjanic and in his role as the playmaker. Even in a match where Juve was awful, Bentancur managed to look good and supply an assist on their only goal. Not only do I think that Bentancur should start every match possible, but I don’t believe there is any offer they should accept for him when they inevitably come pouring over the summer.
