Chelsea fans can be happy with the performances of these stars…

After the arrival of Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s fortunes are seeing a revival. Chelsea fans will be hoping for a top 4 finish but keeping in mind the competition amongst other top teams, the blues needs to maintain the consistency.

At the moment, Chelsea is looking good for a top-four finish as they are in 4th place with 41 points. Chelsea’s last game ended in a 2-2 draw against Leicester City on 1st February. The Blues can still close the gap as they are separated by only 10 points with 2nd placed Manchester City.

Although Chelsea has experienced mixed results like the last season after the arrival of Frank Lampard, the performances of younger players as well as the new arrivals will be a silver lining for the club ahead of the next season. Frank Lampard and the team management have looked confident in terms of selecting the combination as per the opposition’s strength.

This season has given them a chance to re-establish themselves for the next season and it won’t be a surprise if Lampard’s side is amongst the favourites to win the Premier League title in the 2020-21 season. The players are responding well and are trying to work collectively but keeping in mind that they have new players in the dug-out it will take a season or two produce the desired results.

There are some areas where the Blues need to work on especially the midfield where they need to be more organized. As we said before the performances of their young players has been quite pleasing but it will take some polishing. Some of their experienced players too are gelling well with the younger lot. We take a look at 5 players who have impressed the most this season for the blues till now.

1.  Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham is the most exciting talent in the Premier League at the moment. Keeping his form in mind the youngster is going to make a big statement in the years to come.

The 23-year-old has unsettled the opposition’s defence with his electric pace and speed. Abraham showcased his fluidity at the flanks and his combination with Willian has looked threatening. The ambitious striker has a long career ahead of him keeping in mind the talent he possesses.

Since his arrival at the club, Frank Lampard has allowed Abraham to play his natural attacking game. Lampard had stated that Tammy Abraham is a big match player as there is no doubt over his goal-scoring abilities.

Playing under a manager of Lampard’s calibre will help him to become a better player in the future. Chelsea’s forward line is looking penetrative after the arrival of Abraham. Abraham has got the capability to upset any opposition with his fast-paced game and intelligence. The striker is a match-winner on his day.

Abraham has scored 13 goals in 24 Premier League games this season with 4 assists to his name till now. The striker has also scored 2 goals in 6 Champions League games.
