Ivan Zamorano confident Arturo Vidal will be an Inter Milan player
Former Inter Milan legend believes the club will sign Arturo Vidal in the summer.
Despite the winter transfer window being over, rumors persist that link Arturo Vidal to Inter Milan. The Serie A side made no secret that they wanted the player but were unable to reach a deal with Barcelona.
However, former striker Ivan Zamorano is optimistic that his fellow compatriot will don the black and blue by the start of next season.
According to Bleacher Report, he said,
"“Let’s just say I am optimistic we’ll see two Chileans at Inter next season and I have some privileged information on that score. We all know what Vidal means for Antonio Conte and I am sure in June the club will intensify its efforts to sign him from Barcelona. Inter fans would be very happy to have Arturo.”"
The other Chilean Zamorano was referring to was Alexis Sanchez who is at Inter on loan from Manchester United.

Since the beginning of the season, Vidal had been linked with a move away from Barcelona with Inter Milan being his likely destination. But they were unable to come to terms with the Catalans during their negotiations.
While Arturo Vidal has been a difference-maker for Barcelona, he remains more of an impact sub than a starter. It is a status that he has been vocal about not liking. He’s had a rocky time outside the pitch as he sued the club earlier in the season over unpaid bonuses.
Regardless of how well he performs the remainder of the season, an exit still looks likely as Barcelona need to raise funds in their search to rejuvenate their squad.
As Zamorano mentioned, Conte is a fan of Vidal and knows what he can bring as he had him during his time at Juventus. Despite signing Christian Eriksen, the Chilean appears to still be a priority and to his credit, even at 32, Vidal has proven he has a lot left in the tank.
