It has been a satisfactory season for Leicester City till now as the foxes have looked quite impressive in their approach. Since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers, there has been renewed energy in the Leicester City camp.
Leicester’s current performance has brought back memories of the 2015-16 season when the foxes dominated the entire campaign and were crowned Premier League Champions under Claudio Ranieri.
Brendan Rodgers and the team management have picked the combinations keeping the opposition’s game in mind. The players are enjoying playing under Rodgers and are putting up a good collective performance. Leicester City is in the 3rd position in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points, strengthening its chances of a top 4 finish.

Jamie Vardy has been pivotal in Leicester City’s impressive run this season. His performances have brought back memories of the 2015-16 Premier League season when Vardy played an influential role for the foxes.
The 32-year-old is showcasing his class once again this season. The forward has outrun the opposition’s defence with his speed and accelerating pace. Vardy has combined well with the midfield and his co-ordination with Ayoze Perez has looked threatening. Vardy has proved his worth time and again during crunch situations.
Vardy has looked penetrative during set-pieces while his passing is looking sharp as ever. Vardy has scored some brilliant field goals and is looking more relaxed in front of the goal. The forward has scored 17 goals in 23 Premier League games this season with 4 assists to his name.
Vardy has also timed his runs brilliantly during the run of play and the striker has also worked hard on his fitness. One of his biggest strength’s is his ability to attack whenever the opposition makes an error.
Vardy has used his intelligence in tracking the movement of the opposition’s defence which has worked for the team. Vardy’s form has surely lifted the side’s morale and Rodgers will hope the forward continues his fine run.
