With 27 weeks of Premier League action in the books, we turn our attention to Week 28 and predict the outcome of every game this weekend.

Week 27 of the Premier League is now behind us, but it did not disappoint fans in terms of the entertainment it provided. Liverpool maintained their undefeated status after coming from behind to defeat West Ham at Anfield.

Manchester City did not seem distracted by the ban imposed by UEFA as they claimed a victory over third-placed Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Their local rivals also got the job done in impressive style as they defeated Watford by three goals at Old Trafford.

The other main event that attracted a lot of attention over the weekend took place in London. Chelsea held on to their place in the top four after beating a Son-less and Kane-less Tottenham side.

This weekend’s list of fixtures also consists of some interesting games across the board. The title race ended months ago, but several mid-table and bottom-half teams have plenty to play for this weekend. Well, everyone except Norwich City.

Before we dive into my predictions for this weekend’s games, it is important to note that the following games have been postponed as a result of the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday:

  • Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United
  • Manchester City vs. Arsenal

Leicester City bounce back against Norwich City

Leicester City suffered a minimal defeat at the hands of Manchester City this weekend and their form entering that game consisted of one win, two draws and one defeat. The Foxes have been inconsistent as of late, but Friday’s clash against Norwich City presents them with an opportunity to maintain their six-point lead over Chelsea.

Norwich City are in the league basement with 18 points. Mathematically, they can still fight for survival, but realistically speaking they have one foot in the Championship. The Canaries have lost three of their last five and I expect them to suffer another big defeat this weekend.

Daniel Farke’s men have sufficient talent to test Leicester City a few times, but Brendan Rodgers’ side will be eager to attack from the opening whistle. Leicester City will score multiple goals against the second-worst defense in the top flight on Friday.

Prediction: Norwich City 1-3 Leicester City
