The Egyptian once again was the pivot of the forward line. Salah outperformed his opponents with his acceleration and speed. The 27-year-old was successful in positioning himself in goal scoring positions with his clever movements.

The forward as usual formed a deadly combo with Sadio mane in the forward line and his combination with Firmino looked steady. Salah was equally impressive working alongside the midfielders. Salah scored 14 goals in 23 Premier League games this season with 6 assists to his name.

Salah also scored 4 goals in 7 Champions League games this season with 2 assists to his name. Salah’s quick thinking and intelligence always created problems for the opposition’s defence. Salah looked relaxed inside the box where he controlled the ball brilliantly during one on one situations.

Although the forward had slowed down a bit mid-season, Salah managed to find his touch. Salah has got this ability to change his game as per the match situation. Salah functioned cleverly while passing the ball and looked to attack whenever the opposition’s defence looked rusty.

The former Chelsea FC player has looked quick to capitalize on the opposition’s mistakes and used his experience to score goals with calmness.
