Henderson has been a major contributing factor in the midfield. His combination with the likes of James Milner and Wijnaldum has made a big difference for the Reds this season. Jurgen Klopp had once praised the midfielder’s work ethics on the field.

Henderson has looked strong while working at the flanks and his presence adds a lot of creativity in the midfield. Henderson has used all his experience during tricky situations and temperamentally he has looked consistent.

Although the former Sunderland FC player has only scored 3 goals in 25 Premier League games this season with 5 assists to his name, the 30-year-old has used his clever co-ordination in the midfield to create goal-scoring opportunities inside the box. The England international has been a vital factor for the Reds.

5. Virgil Van Dijk

Since the arrival of Van Dijk, Liverpool’s defence has looked all the more robust and solid. Van Dijk’s presence has provided reliability in the defensive set up and it is Jurgen Klopp’s confidence which has helped Van Dijk evolve as a player.

The 28-year-old has been an influential figure for the Reds since his arrival at the club. The Dutch international was a crucial figure last season when Liverpool won the Champions League. Van Dijk has underlined his ability once again this season with some wonderful performances. Van Dijk has showcased his strength to win the ball from the opposition with his brilliant tackles and clever interceptions.

The defender has been a busy player on the field and has manned the defence with determination. The former Southampton FC player has operated brilliantly during set-pieces and has also scored 4 goals in 25 Premier League games this season. His ability to score through towering headers has made Liverpool operate more sharply during set-pieces.
