Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has spoken about Kepa Arrizabalaga‘s future.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is currently out of favour and according to several reports, the Spanish shot-stopper could leave Chelsea this summer.

According to Sky Sports, Frank Lampard has criticised all the rumours circulating Kepa’s future at Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard says that his relationship with the 25-year-old goalkeeper is good and he can make his way back into the starting 11 if he gets back to his best.

Kepa Arrizabalaga had an impressive start to his life with the London club, but his form dipped under the new manager and on-field attitude issues took a toll on the talented keeper.

Kepa received a lot of criticism in last year’s English League Cup final against Manchester City, when Maurizio Sarri was the manager of the Blues.

The former Italian wanted to make a substitution in the allotted extra time by replacing Kepa with Willy Caballero.

Willy Caballero has a great reputation when it comes to shot-stopping and, in particular, penalty saving.

Kepa somehow managed to disobey the manager’s plans and ruin their connections walking into the dressing room.

Despite the change in the managerial guard for the Blues, he found himself having trouble with the new manager and is now reported to be on his way out of the club.

But Chelsea’s legendary goal-scoring play-maker and now manager believes that these transfer claims won’t bother him at all and can only improve his players in the long term.

Lampard said:

"“I have read a lot of false articles this week, probably guessing on players, Every time I see a Chelsea player put on the shirt they are in control of their own destiny somewhat individually. You can’t always control collectively the result.“All I am focusing on is game by game to get the best finish to the season that we can possibly get. Then, of course, there are decisions for the club ongoing in the summer, we have to look at that. But no way am I jumping forward to the future now and a lot of those reports are wrong.” – Frank Lampard (quotes via Joe Shread of Sky Sports)"

Frank Lampard believes that Kepa Arrizabalaga has his destiny in his own hands.
