Real Madrid could have another productive summer after seeing their form drop miserably towards the business end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has his same old headache right now, goal-scoring issues. The Frenchman has been reliant on Karim Benzema for a large part of this season, but as things have gone, he has slowed down and the Whites have visibly struggled to find the back of the net and have no answer to the chances being created.

Luka Jovic has not been getting a turn that he needs and over the last three matches, he has just featured for a meagre six minutes. Zidane’s downside with Jovic is that he brings him in matches where there is a lot of pressure to deliver and around a tired setup of players. The Serbian is still settling into Madrid, so exposing him directly to such situations is not ideal.

Gareth Bale on the other hand seems to be careless about the club whatsoever. The Wales international has been having his not-so-new injury issues constantly, and it has been six months since he last scored in La Liga. What’s worse is that he has now gone over a year without finding the back of the net in the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bale’s image amongst the fans is dark and it’s best for him to leave the club in the summer as he will be a good riddance to Real Madrid. Diario GOL has claimed that Zidane will not count on the former Tottenham Hotspur forward for the next season and has asked Florentino Perez to sanction a move for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Mohamed Salah has been at unease as claimed by Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher some time ago, and if all of that is true, he could end up leaving this summer after sealing an inevitable Premier League title to follow upon an international treble from last year. Barcelona are also thought to be hunting for Salah, who is worth 130 million euros.
