Lionel Messi has been the core of Barcelona’s forward line since his arrival at the club a few decades ago. The Argentine has formed a deadly combo with Luis Suarez in the forward line.

Many thought that maybe after the departure of Neymar, the balance of Barcelona’s forward line may get affected, but the 32-year-old has teamed up quite well with Suarez and his co-ordination with the midfield has looked sharp as ever.

The Argentine holds a commanding position in Barcelona’s forward line and has decided the outcome of any particular game with his individual brilliance.

Lionel Messi has scored 2 goals in 6 Champions League games this season and will be hoping to continue his impressive goal-scoring form. His form will surely be a big factor for the Catalans. Messi has got all-round skills whether it is creating chances or scoring goals.
