Barcelona finally reach an agreement with Luis Suarez replacement
By Kian Long
Barcelona has reportedly agreed to sign Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez…
The summer transfer window always seems to serve Barcelona well. Last time out, they signed Frenkie De Jong and Antoine Griezmann, both of which have become prominent first-team stars since their arrivals.
But where do they go next? How can you possibly top the signing of Antoine Griezmann? I mean, you could always sign Lionel Messi but that might be a little hard for Barcelona to do, for obvious reasons.
According to a report from the Daily Star, Barcelona has agreed on a deal which would bring Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez to the Camp Nou, and he will be on an impressive £16m salary.

If you haven’t heard of Lautaro Martinez, you’re living under a rock. He is a countryman of Lionel Messi and their playing styles are shockingly similar. If you can even compare Messi’s style to anyone, that is.
Martinez has a low centre of gravity and his footwork is absolutely phenomenal. He is known to bring out the tricks in Italy and he will be hoping to replicate this in Spain if he is given the opportunity.
He has scored 11 goals and provided one assist in the Serie A this season, which is good considering he ages at just 22 years old.
Martinez would arrive in Catalonia with one aim in mind; to fill the boots of Luis Suarez. While this is never going to be an easy task to accomplish, Martinez has all the confidence in the world so he will look to manifest this into a reality.
Suarez is getting on a bit in his career and while there is still fuel left in the tank, signing a new young striker would prove to the world what Barcelona’s intent is. They want someone who can come in, spend a few seasons working alongside Luis Suarez, before eventually replacing him when he leaves or retires.
Do you think Lautaro Martinez is the right signing from Barcelona’s perspective?
