Jack Grealish and co: 5 Premier League players to move this summer
By Durim Halimi
Adama Traore
Wolverhampton is blessed with abundant talent in the final third of the pitch, but Adama Traore is undoubtedly their most dynamic player. I think it would be fair to say that Traore is one of the most dynamic and exciting players in the Premier League. The former Barcelona man has been catching the eye of multiple elite clubs with his performances over the last two seasons.
The Spaniard has scored four goals and completed seven assists for Wolverhampton this season, and he has also found the back of the net twice in the Europa League. Traore is not known for scoring many goals, but what has attracted the interest of Barcelona and Real Madrid is his ability to create big chances for others.
Nuno Espirito Santo values Traore as his playmaker on the wing, but he is also aware of the attention his star player is receiving from the aforementioned Spanish giants. In fact, Santo has circled Allan Saint-Maximin’s name as a possible replacement for Traore.
The 24-year-old will be on the move this summer and he will suit up for Real Madrid to snub the former club that turned him into an outcast.
Todd Cantwell
Norwich City have been in the league basement all season after only celebrating five victories and suffering 18 defeats, but a few of their players have showcased some individual brilliance. The Canaries’ top goal scorer, Teemu Pukki, has stolen most of the headlines this season, but youngster Todd Cantwell has been in fine form and is attracting interest from top clubs.
Cantwell, 22, has six goals and two assists to his name this season. Those numbers are not astonishing, and they do not make him a top talent, but those statistics do show that he can be a reliable midfielder in the Premier League. According to a new report from The Sun, the following teams want to secure his services this summer: Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham.
Manchester United have their eyes on a few other midfielders who have more Premier League experience, and Jose Mourinho will be primarily focused on signing big-name players to rebuild Tottenham.
Liverpool expects a few of their attacking players to leave this summer, so signing Cantwell would be a wise decision. Cantwell’s teammates will most likely be in the Championship next season, but he will be taking orders from Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
