Liverpool is not letting the two La Liga sides have an easy summer…

Well, this is a twist of events. If Fabian Ruiz thought he was lucky to have both Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting over his name, then he just got even luckier as Liverpool has joined the fray.

According to Express, Jurgen Klopp has expressed his desire to sign Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz in the summer. By doing so, he would pip Real Madrid and Barcelona to the post in what is thought to be a deal worth around £74m.

Fabian Ruiz has a lot to think about, but he certainly has options. He could either return to his home country, remain in Italy or jump ship to England to play in the most-viewed league in the world.

More from Liverpool FC

Liverpool sits top of the Premier League and depending on how this coronavirus pandemic is dealt with, they could be handed their first Premier League title since it was rebranded. They are also the champions of Europe, so certainly an attractive destination for potential signings.

Jurgen Klopp has turned the Reds into a real powerhouse and what is most impressive about it, is he’s done so through moderate spending. Yes, he did splash the cash on Virgil van Dijk but every signing he has made has had an impact.

Consequently, this will play in Liverpool’s favour. Of all the three managers; Quique Setien, Jurgen Klopp and Zinedine Zidane, Klopp seems to be the one with his head screwed on. He has excellent man-management abilities and he leaves no player behind.

Just look at the signings of Andrew Robertson, Mohamed Salah, etc. Nobody expected them to flourish into the players they are but they are now among the best players in the world for their position. Fabian Ruiz would only be the same if he joined Liverpool.

Do you think Fabian Ruiz will choose to sign for Liverpool?
