Now it’s time for the most obvious choice. If you’re not familiar with Moron, then you’ll definitely be familiar with Danny Ings. The England international has undergone a renaissance this season with Southampton and he is looking like a new player.

Before the Coronavirus suspension, the Southampton striker had managed an impressive 15 goals, scoring a goal every 134 minutes in the league. This is better than Harry Kane’s record, which stood at a goal every 162 minutes.

Tottenham fans will be very impressed by Ings’ performances this season and Jose Mourinho in particular would have been keeping a keen eye on the former Liverpool man.

Ings is a natural goal scorer. He may not have had the best of times at Liverpool but this was purely down to him not being ready for the role. The resurgence this season proves he is ready to take the next step up and sign for Spurs, if he is needed.

Danny Ings ages at 27, so he is one year older than Kane, but he is only just entering the prime stages of his career. With that being said, it is the perfect time to sign for Spurs and work under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho.

However, if Tottenham really want to splash the cash, they do have other options.
