The Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez is not having the best of times in Italy, he really can’t catch a break…

When Manchester United unveiled the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, much to their rival’s annoyance, everyone expected big things. However, the best performance he has had for the Red Devils remains the piano rendition he performed for the signing video. Basically, he’s been dreadful and not worth the extortionate wages.

So, the decision was made to loan the Chilean out to the Serie A, a league which Alexis is familiar with since this is where he made a name for himself before joining Barcelona.

However, this time around was not as successful since Inter is not impressed with him. According to the Manchester Evening News, Inter is not likely to make the move permanent.

More from Manchester United

Some United fans will take this as a positive. It means they have the option to keep Alexis for another season if they wish to. However, given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s comments about the upcoming transfer window, it would appear he has plans elsewhere.

The truth is, ever since Alexis left Arsenal, he has not been the same player. Playing under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger, he was one of, if not the best player in the Premier League. This is why the applauds he received when signing for United were warranted, but he never made the most of his stature at the Theatre of Dreams.

It’s safe to say, Alexis’ time at Manchester United can go down as a flop. Some will argue he has the ability, which he definitely does given the way he performed with Arsenal. However, he showed no signs of improvement during his short stint under Solskjaer so the Norwegian boss will certainly question whether Alexis is the right man for the future.
