4. Mesut Ozil

Again, this probably won’t come as a surprise. The majority of Arsenal fans, even those who were once fans of Mesut Ozil, have now begun to agree that he should be sold this summer.

Mikel Arteta tried all he could in the early stages of his managerial career to integrate Ozil back into the Arsenal XI but the former Germany international was having none of it. In fact, he looked just as lethargic as the fans were watching him.

Ozil was once an exceptional player and Arsenal have squeezed everything they can out of him, but now it’s time to be honest and to move forward. Besides, selling Ozil would free up the most wage resources that could be invested to greater effect somewhere else.

3. Sead Kolasinac

Next up is Ozil’s friend Sead Kolasinac who, I must admit, I am a big fan of. However, the reason I think he should be sold is that he simply cannot play 90 minutes without being on the receiving end of an injury.

With adequate backup now in place with Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka, both of which can perform better than the Bosnia international anyway, it’s time for Arteta to bid farewell and perhaps sign a replacement so that Saka can return to his more natural position.

Finally, let’s move onto everyone’s favourite – some controversy.
